Evelyna (Ever) Hughes, 91, of Huttig died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born in Strong, Arkansas, to Jessie Cleveland White and Margaret Jane Howard White. She worked for the Huttig School system for many years and was also a house wife. She was a member of the Jack Mayfield Methodist Church in Huttig.

Evelyna is preceded in death by her parents, husband; William A. Hughes, son Jason Hughes, and daughter Bonnie Johnson.

She is survived by two daughters; Jane (Billy) Rodgers of El Dorado and Evelyn Deniece Hughes of Huttig, daughter-n-law; Linda Hughes of Huttig, grandchildren; Kenny Rodgers, Leslie Rodgers, Phillip Hughes, Kevin Hughes, and Suzanne (Chris) DeLaney; great grandchildren; Nikki Rodgers, Brittany (Bobby) Davis, Camille Rodgers, Scott Rodgers, Jas Rodgers, Lauren Rodgers, Tanis(Aaron) Fox, Sheldon Hughes, Austin Hughes, Katlynn Hughes, Dylan Hughes, Sydney Hughes, Aidan Hughes, Autumn Hughes, and Keerigan De Laney, great great grandchildren; Baibre Davis, and Briley Davis.

Services will be 2 PM, Friday, July 9, 2010, at Jack Mayfield Methodist Church in Huttig, with Revs. Robert Jackson and Clay Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Harper Springs Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels in Strong. Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Visitation will be 6-9 PM, Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Perry's Funeral Chapels in Strong.

The Family will be at Jane Rodgers residences; 680 Nicks Springs Road; El Dorado.
