Fred Hardy Smith Jr., 54, of Norphlet passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born August 1, 1966 to Fred Hardy Smith Sr. and Sandra Sue Ingram Smith.

Fred better known as Freddy to everyone was raised in Norphlet and lived there all his life. He graduated from NHS in 1986. Freddy worked at Norphlet Auto with his grandfather. Fred G. Smith and father, Fred Hardy Smith Sr.  He also worked with a security company. Freddy was a member of the Norphlet Volunteer Fire Department before becoming disabled and retiring. He was always a jokester and was a lot of fun.

Freddy is preceded in death by his father, Fred Hardy Smith Sr.; stepmother, Judy Odom Smith; his paternal grandparents, Fred G. Smith and Jessie Swilley Smith; his maternal grandparents, Lenorad C. and Naomi McDaniel Ingram.; his uncle, Cliff Ingram; his nephew Christopher Ingram along with many aunts and uncles.

Left to cherish his memories, his wife, Michelle Smith; son, Steven Smith; bonus son; William Warren; mother, Sandra Smith and life partner, Donald Broach; brother, James David Smith (Danielle); step-brother, Michael Odom (Carla); uncles, Gerald Ingram (Carolyn), Carl Ray Ingram (Stacy); aunts, Bobbie Boulton and Linda Hargett (Adrin); many nieces and nephews, and five fur babies.
