George "Richard" Reuter, 81, of Okeechobee, Florida, formerly of El Dorado, passed away July 28, 2016.

Richard was born September 27, 1934 to the late Lloyd Andrew Reuter, Sr. and Munnie Aline Swilley Reuter. Richard gladly served in the Air Force and retired after just over 21 years of service, traveling extensively throughout his career and retirement, at home and abroad. God bless the U.S.A. After retiring from Air Force, he enjoyed working for Pratt and Whitney as a Inspector on air craft and shuttles for 18 years. Member of Oakview Baptist Church in Okeechobee, Fl. Fishing and hunting were lifetime pursuits. Richard was very proud of his three daughters as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved God, his continued blessings in his life and all his family.

Preceding him in death are his parents; one brother, Charles Reuter and one grandson, Chris Nesbit.

Those left to cherish in his memory are his wife, Kathy Reuter; three daughters, Vickie Deeds (Greg) of Indiana, Kim Hay (Rick) of Arizona and Deborah Hill of Ohio; grandchildren, Matthew Deeds, Andrew Deeds, Kevin Deeds , Aaron Jones (Carrie), Maureen and Laura Nesbit; great grandchildren, Graham Deeds, Sawyer Deeds and Everly Jones; one brother, Lloyd Reuter, Jr. of Springfield, MO and one sister, Betty Reuter Parker (James) of Norphlet.

Visitation will be at 9am Wednesday August 3 with services immediately following at 10 at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Bro. Delmas Jones officiating.

Interment following at Rest Haven Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
