Gladys Henley, 59, of Smackover, passed away at her residence on August 28, 2018. She was born on August 9, 1959 in El Dorado to the late O.C. Ponder, Sr. and Maxine Freeman Ponder.

Preceding her in death are her parents; two brothers, Grady and Dennis Ponder; and two sisters, Lisa Jean Couples and Barbara Harrison.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Donald Henley; three children, Laticha Ponder, Barbara Jenkins, and James Jenkins; granddaughter, Brittany Ponder; step-grandchildren, Ricky Mendez and Dijana Mendez; sister, Betty Gray; and brothers, Frank Ponder, Jerry Dean Ponder and O.C. Ponder, Jr.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Perry's Funeral Chapels.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Precious Memories Cemetery in Mer Rouge, LA under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels. An additional visitation will be held prior to the graveside service starting at 1:00 PM
