Glen Wayne Beck, also known as "Daddy Wayne" peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 8th,
2024 at the age of 83 in El Dorado, AR.  He was born on November 21, 1940 in El Dorado, Arkansas to
the late Glen E. and Melba Henry Beck.

Mr. Beck had a fulfilling career, working as a Network Analyst Specialist at South Arkansas Community
College for eighteen years before retiring.  Prior to that, he served as a Data Processing Supervisor at South Arkansas Medical Center for twenty years.  Mr. Beck had a few hobbies that brought him joy, including attending truck shows, visiting Petit Jean
Mountain, Branson, MO and watching Gunsmoke on TV while sipping coffee with honey.  He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, family, friends, and his best dog, Buster.  One of his favorite verses that he quoted daily was, "By his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5".

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Anthony Wayne Cribb, and son-in-law Kirk Hudson.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his loving wife of forty-four years Sue Beck; four daughters
Taffy Vickers (Tommy), Laurie Shelton (Burt), Robin Hughes (Danny), and Kristie Hudson (Randal); nine grandchildren: Brittany, Stephanie, Vanessa, Derek, Kaci, Alan, Jonathan, Josh, and Madison; nineteen great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services in his honor will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR, Pastors James Coward and Larry Hudson officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations in his honor be made to Hospice of El Dorado.
