Paul Glenn Jones has ascended into heaven.  And as usual, he did it his way…passing peacefully in his sleep with family present.

"Jones" had a talent for creativity.  Ask his family about that motorized bicycle or the RoboGoat (before those became a thing!)   He transformed a small tow barge into a fishing houseboat that he enjoyed taking to the Ouachita River.

"P.G" was always a jokester.  Whether poking fun at himself or playing dress up to anyone's surprise, he loved giving people a good laugh.

"Jonesy" had a passion for trying new things including motocross racing, waterskiing, 18-wheeler driving, camping, trapping, photography… He had a real knack for technology.

His lifetime enthusiasm for airplanes began early in life.  "Flyboy" joined the marines with a desire to work with them.  This led to his FAA career which afforded him the chance to become a pilot.  Many family vacations were taken in his single engine planes.  During one of those, he fell in love with Alaska.  He and Marion lived there several years and annual trips were taken thereafter.

Love by so many, his presence will be greatly missed.  He is survived by his beloved "girls":  Marion, his wife of 65 years; and his daughters Rhonda (Tony) and Kelly (Tim).  Also, grandchildren Tasha and Jonathon (Emily); great-grands Liam and Finn; and his sister Reba.

The family is extremely grateful to Dr. Camille Wise for her years of loving care.  They are also thankful to Arkansas Lifetouch Hospice who made the impossible possible to endure.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, June 21, 2025, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR.  In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family request donations be made to the charity of your choice.
