Harold Thurston Carter, age 70, of El Dorado passed from this life Thursday, May 9, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. Harold was born December 28, 1953 in Black Rock, AR to the late Henry and Zelma Carter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Billy Wayne Carter, John Henry Carter, and Dennis Ray carter.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his loving wife of 21 years Rose Mary Carter; three sons Harold Carter Jr and his wife Elizabeth, Michael Carter and his wife Cassie, and Austin Turner; two daughters Michelle Gibson and her husband Petey, and Sandra Turner; three bonus children Charissa Lemons, Melodie Shipley and her husband Dan, and Eric Lambert; two brothers Eddie Lee Carter, and Mose Carter; two sisters Barbara Brittain, and Ruth Morgan, nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; as well as host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service in his honor will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 25, 2024, at El Dorado Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Daniel Clark officiating.
