Harold O'Neil Hines, age 75 of Strong, died Monday July 21, 2008 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born December 13th 1932 in Moro Bay and is the son of the late Jimmie Nathan Hines and Ouita Gates Hines.

Harold was a United States Army veteran serving in the Korean conflict. He was a supervisor working for Strong Wood Yard before retireing. He was a member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, but most of all he loved his family.

Surviving him is his wife Augusta Hines of Strong, his daughter; Becky Cline and her daughters Amanda and Breanna, son; Jimmy G. Hines and his wife Robin and their sons Caleb and Daniel, and son; Ron Hines and his wife Jo and their daughters Cassie and Caitlin, and a daughter Sheila Hines, two sisters; Louneil Huff and Betty Kingrey, and many nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.

Preceding him is his parents, a sister Nina Terrell, grandson Wayne Cline, and son-in-law Randy Cline.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Wednesday July 23rd at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Revs Shane Beasley, Mack Ables, and Scott Etheridge officiating. Burial will be in Green Grove Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6:00 til 8:00pm Tuesday July 22nd at Perry's Funeral Chapels in Strong, Arkansas. Serving as pallbearers will be James Langston, Ricky Langston, Lane Langston, Carl Pridgen, Mark Parker,and Seth Castillo.
