Harry Clay Freeman, age 63, of El Dorado, AR passed from this life on Monday, September 02, 2024 surrounded by family after a lengthy battle with COPD. Harry was born November 22, 1960 in New Orleans, LA.

Harry was a long time member of The Church at the Armory. In his younger days he enjoyed competing in rope and barrel in the rodeo, and motocross. He loved to hunt and fish and spend time outdoors. He developed a passion for drag-racing, where he became a member of Racers for Christ -a group he stayed in touch with over the years. His mother-in-law Sherrie Jones recalled "he was always tender-hearted to me". Harry was a friend for life, and he would always say "see you later" instead of goodbye with hopes that soon he would see you again.

He was preceded in death by his parents A. B. and Maxine Freeman.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his loving wife of twenty-eight years Janette Freeman; three daughters Chasity Meyers of Watson, LA; Katlynn Freeman-Higgins of El Dorado, AR; and Loren Freeman of El Dorado, AR; two sons Daniel Paul Heard of Hot Springs, AR and Derek Smith of El Dorado, AR; one sister Melanie Moses of El Dorado, AR; in-laws Jim and Sherrie Jones of El Dorado, AR; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral service in his honor will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR, Pastor Chester Passmore officiating, internment following at Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery on O'Rear Rd in El Dorado, AR.
