Helen Marie Fitzgerald, 72, of El Dorado went to be with the Lord January 1, 2022. She was born on August 7, 1949 in El Dorado to the late Ernest and Margaret Hodge. Helen loved any activity that involved being outdoors, she was an avid deer hunter and could out fish most men. Her yard was her masterpiece in which she took pride. She also enjoyed playing cards, putting puzzles together and had an obsession with the television series The Walking Dead.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Fitzgerald.

Survivors include her son, ET Thurmon (Miranda); daughters, Margie Snow (Tony) and Donna Fitzgerald; sister, Mary Jarrell; eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; two nieces; one nephew; and adopted son, Byron Goodwin.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Perry's Funeral Chapels officiated by Bro. Donny Hargett followed by Interment at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels. The family will be gathered at 9108 Moro Bay Hwy. El Dorado, AR 71730.

ET Thurmon, Jeff Williams, Robbie Snow, Tony Snow, Scott Lambert, Clint Walker and Joel Gonzalez will serve as Pallbearers.
