Herbert Lee Edwards 62, of Crossett died on Thursday June 09, 2016 in Crossett, Arkansas. He was born November 29, 1953 in Dumas, Arkansas.
Early in his career he was an auto mechanic retired from Georgia Pacific sawmill as an heat and air technician.
Herbert was a leisure lover and enjoyed the slower things in life , like spending time in his garden and driving slowly down the road. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his son Kevin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Herbert D. Edwards and Leona Cooney Edwards and a niece; Wendy Severe.
Survivors are his son Kevin Edwards of El Dorado, 3 sisters; Catherine Edwards, Peggy Pettit (Randy) and Sharon Mann (Steve) all of Crossett, a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and extended family.
Visitation and services will be held from 2pm -3pm Sunday June12, 2016 at Perrys Funeral Chapels in Strong with services starting at 3:30pm with Rev James Fleming officiating. Cremations services will be provided by Perry's Funeral Chapels
