Obituary
Long time El Dorado resident Leon LaBeff, 70, of Norphlet, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Medical Center of South Arkansas after a long battle with Rheumatoid arthritis. Leon was born on 4/1/1945 to Joe LaBeff and Mary Wilson LaBeff in El Dorado, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Steven LaBeff; three sisters, Betty, Barbara and Carolyn, all from Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine LaBeff of Norphlet, AR; Son Thomas LaBeff(Cindy) of McLoud, OK; daughter Bridget Eaves(Windell) of Gladewater, TX; Granddaughters Kindell Castle(Cody) of Longview, TX; Kalyn Eaves of Longview, TX; and Lindsey Threadgill of Betty, TX.; brother James LaBeff of Kilgore, TX.; great-grandson Silas Castle of Longview, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at First Apostolic Church of Smackover, AR on Saturday 1/30/2016 at 2pm, with Rev. Lonnie Smith officiating. Burial is at Rehobeth Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
