Obituary

J.O. Turbeville,71, of Strong, went to be with his heavenly father on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Life Touch's, John R. Williamson Hospice House.

J.O. was born on September 16, 1945 in Crossett, AR to the late W.B. and Ola Mae Vorhease Turbeville.

J.O. was a veteran of the Vietnam War and loved hunting with family and friends. He was a member of Union Methodist Protestant Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Joyce Turbeville.

Survivors include two sons, James Turbeville and Ken Turbeville (Tamara) of Strong; one daughter, Kathy Turbeville of Bryant, AR; three grandsons, Hunter Keaster, Jordan Keaster and Caster Broussard; four granddaughters, Brooklynn Turbeville, McKayla Livingston, Kennedy Turbeville, and Hadley Davis ; one sister, JoAnn Norsworthy (Lindall); numerous nephews and nieces; as well as his special friends O'Neil Wooten (Dianne) and Johnny Burson (Lawanda) and Ronald Berry.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 6 - 8pm at New London Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2pm, Friday, May 26, 2017 also at New London Baptist Church with Bro. Donald Ray Smith and Bro. Ricky Smith officiating.

Interment will follow at Ebenezer Presbyterian Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
