James Belin, 65, of El Dorado, died Tuesday at his residence. He was born August 23, 1943 in Hermitage, Arkansas and is the son of Joe Belin and Johnnie M. Smith Belin who preceded him in death along with a brother Frank Belin and most recently a son Joey Belin.

James was an easy going family man, a good man, who loved his family especially all of his grandchildren. He loved to hunt and fish and you could see him riding his bicyle all over town. He will be deeply missed by his family who loved him so dearly.

Survivors include his son; James Belin and wife Norma of El Dorado, a brother; Fred Belin of El Dorado, a sister; Eva Drummond and husband Jerry of El Dorado, a grandson; Joseph Belin and wife Elizabeth, great grandchildren; Austin Belin, Dallas Belin, and James (Little Joe) Belin , and a special friend Ronnie Massey.

Chapel funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday December 5, 2008 at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Revs. Floyd Taylor and Bob Gryder officiating. Burial will be at Gravel Ridge Cemetery near Hermitage. Visitaion will be from 6:00pm til 8:00pm December 4, 2008 at the funeral home.
