James Earl "Buddy" Turner, 56, of Harrell, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 17, 2018.

He was born October 14, 1961, in El Dorado, to George Amon Turner and Margie Ruth McDougald Turner.

Preceding him in death were his parents and nephew, Zack Turner.

He is survived by his son and daughter who he shared his passion for deer hunting, fishing and black cows throughout the years. Brandon Turner of Harrell with whom he has resided at the family farm for the last eight years and Lauren Turner of Downsville, Louisiana. A spouse Sonya and her daughter Kasey. Two sisters, Susan (Donivan) Stogsdill of El Dorado and Kimberly (Donnie) Smith of Hilo. Three brothers, Jeffery (Dedra) Turner of Little Rock, Tom (Glenda) Turner of Madisonville, Kentucky and Chuck Turner of Tupelo, Mississippi. An Aunt Mary Ann Malone of Bossier City, Louisiana and an Uncle Dale (Monica) McDougald of Urbana. Nieces, Jessica (Chris) Jones, Kailey Stogsdill, Lindsay Turner and great-nieces, Kaitlynn and Adalyn Jones. Nephew Trevor Turner and great-nephews Evan Jones and Cobin Tate. As well as many other friends and relatives.

The service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Perry's Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends and family for visitation from 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. The memorial service will be held in the chapel beginning at 4:00p.m.

Buddy would appreciate any memorials be made in his mother Margie or nephew Zack's honor. Memorials can be placed to the John R.
