James Cunningham

James Dunnahoe Cunningham, 62, of El Dorado, Arkansas passed away March 3, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born April

2, 1963 to Gerald and Jean Frances Cunningham in Port Arthur, Texas.

James worked for Murphy USA in the IT department as a Systems Design Architect. He was a husband and father who

loved and supported his family. He took great pride in his children and all of their ventures. He had a special gift to recognize

other’s talents, call them higher, and challenge them to succeed in their goals. He loved the outdoors and could find him on

weekends outside: hiking, doing yard work, or even developing his own “bonsai trees”. A man of great faith who always was

and now always will be fixated on the marvelous glory of God.

Preceding him in death are his parents. Surviving him are his wife Jo Lynn Cunningham, daughter Julie Loftin, sons Jacob

Cunningham and Jadon Cunningham and wife Maggie Kate, sister Elizabeth Price and husband Troy, brothers Gerald and

Robert Cunningham.

A memorial service will be held in his honor 10:00 am Monday, March 16, 2026, at Perry’s Funeral Chapel of El Dorado with

Pastor Tom Lowe officiating.
