James Wilfred Richard Sr, age 85, of El Dorado, AR passed from this life on October 27, 2024 at Southern trace Nursing Center in Bryant, AR. He was born December 26, 1938 to the late Homer W. and Mabyn Massey Richard.

James was a lifelong resident of El Dorado. He was a retired Auto Mechanic as well as a retired Beekeeper. James has vast mechanical talents and exceptional knowledge of many fields. Yet, his greatest achievement was his distinct ability to build a friendship. Feeling those connections were more valuable than any other assets.

Those left to cherish his memory include: two younger brothers Wayne D. Richard (Mary Jo) of Springfield, TN and Thomas D. Richard (Avelena); four children Sheila K. Richard, Rebecca L. Warbington (Ron) of Austin, AR, Dana Richard Sanders (Phillip) of Bryant, AR; and James W. Richard, Jr (Renee) of Benton, AR; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral Services in his honor will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR, with Rev. James Warbington and Rev. Micah Warbington officiating, internment following at Arlington Memorial Park in El Dorado, AR. The family would like to invite the public to come and share stories and memories during a time of visitation held from 5-7:00 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at the funeral home.
