James Durwood Sims, 72, of El Dorado, passed away on July 10, 2020 at Oak Ridge Nursing Home. He was born July 18, 1947 to the late Durwood Sims and Flossie Davis. James is preceded in death by his parents and loving wife Sandra Dear. He is retired from the United States Navy. James is survived his son, Spencer Sims of Houma, Louisiana and three granddaughters as well as his nephew, Bennie Daniels of Rockwall, Texas. Cremation Services provided by Perry's Funeral Chapels.
