Obituary
Janice C. Bridges McGoogan, 44, of Parkers Chapel died at the John R. Williamson Hospice House surrounded by her family and friends on June 4, 2016, after a three year courageous battle against cancer.
She was born February 2, 1972 in El Dorado to Delmon Royce and Linda Bridges. Janice loved to live and lived to love. Janice was trained in Secretarial work after high school graduation. She graduated from Parkers Chapel High School and married her high school sweetheart Michael, and was a mother to three precious boys, Brennan, Jace and Braylee. She was the beautiful smile and the ever so sweet voice at the Minute Man in El Dorado along side her family members in this family-owned business. Janice was a long time and very faithful member of East Faulkner Church of Christ. She loved her church family and her church family loved her.
She is survived by husband Michael E. McGoogan; and sons Brennan M. McGoogan, Bradley "Jace" McGoogan and Braylee K. McGoogan; father Delmon Royce Bridges; step mother, Jeanette Bridges all of Parkers Chapel; one sister, Laura Price (Kendal and Alaina Power) of Junction City; step grandmother, Pat Smith; Step sister, Christi Jones (Randy, Kaytlin, Madilyn and Chandler) of Mountain Home; step brother Brandon Anders (Lauri, Logan, Conner, Drew and Kaylin Waller) of El Dorado; Father and mother in law, Paul and Linda McGoogan; brother in laws, Joey McGoogan (Leigh Ann) and Brent McGoogan all of El Dorado as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Linda Bridges; her paternal grandparents, Harvey and Ruby Bridges; her maternal grandparents Nolan and Mattie McDowell
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Tuesday June 7 at the Parkers Chapel First Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be at 2pm, Wednesday June 8 at the Parkers Chapel First Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Johnson of the East Faulkner Church of Christ officiating.
Internment will follow at the Parkers Chapel Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
Pallbearers will be Joey McGoogan Kendal Price, Randy Jones, Brandon Anders, Doug Henley and Rick Messer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brent McGoogan and Grant Brumley.
