Jan (Meaw) Hux after 68 years as an angel on this earth went to be with her Lord & Savior on
Tuesday, May 26, 2009, following a courageous battle with cancer. She passed from this world
in the arms of her family who loved her so very dearly.
Above all else she loved her Father, God and the study of his word. She was married for 52
years and adored her husband and children. Just as she was the last to partake in dinner, she was
the first to sacrifice so her family wouldn't have to. Jan enjoyed gardening and reading. Her
grandchildren, Jeremiah & Taylor, were the light of her life and also the authors of "Meaw".
And we can't forget the snow! She prayed for snow every winter. She said it was pure like
Heaven. So Lord, let it snow for Meaw.....
She is preceded in death by her mother and father Mordre Marie Adcock White and Julius Byron
White and a step-sister Lynn Ellen White.
Survivors include her husband; Austin Hux of El Dorado, daughters; Sabrena Lamkin and
husband Ron and Angela Radar and her children Jerimiah Rader and Taylor Rader all of El
