Jarvis "Wade" Welch 64 of Strong, went to Heaven on March 4, 2014 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas with his daughters by his side.
Wade was born October 18, 1949 to WL "Bud" Welch Jr. and Melba Welch.

Wade went from working as a hand with his dad to part owner of Urbana Well Service and continued in the oil business until he retired. He loved the outdoors, loved riding his horses and spent many days at Leagle Lake at his camp which was his home away from home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother in law Lawrence Poole and a niece Nikole Dugal

Survivors include his five loving daughters who thought their daddy hung the moon. Michelle McGehee (Matt Harvey), Tonya Stone (Michael), Shannon Butler (Jason Donaldson), Kimberly Welch, Jessica Bone (Chris).

Papaw loved and adored his 13 granchildren, Lauren Claire McGehee, William Austin McGehee, Halie Paige Dunn, Tavin Lee Stone, Jace Wade Stone, Sabrina Nicole Butler, Trinity Piper Butler, Adrian Bradley Welch, Melanie Isabelle Welch, Sophia Ester Welch, Mary Catheleen Bone, Kristen Lieghann Bone, Emma Ruth Bone. Wade also leaves behind 2 sisters Vickie Landers(Billy) and as he would call her "his favorite lil sister" Gloria Craig (Gene) and his best friend in the whole wide world Jerry Dugal. He also loved his nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Friday at Knowles Baptist Church on Old Strong Hwy. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm Saturday at Knowles Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Nash officiating. Burial will be at Centerpoint Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels
