Evie Jean Carney Frisby, 77, of El Dorado, AR passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 at South Arkansas Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 24, 1946 to Homer and Vergie Vestelle Varnado Carney.

She was a graduate of El Dorado High School, Paramount Beauty School, and South Arkansas Community College. She enjoyed going to church, singing, spending time with her family, raising farm animals, gardening, and being a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 39 years Jerry Dwain Frisby, four sisters, Mary Hendricks, Janice Lewis, Janelle Carney and Carmen Landry, and two brothers J.O. Carney and Varney J. Carney.

Those left to cherish her memory include: daughter Jennifer Stringfellow of El Dorado, grandson Seth Stringfellow of El Dorado, and her remaining three brothers Jerald Carney and Jon Carney of El Dorado, and James Carney of Jasper.
