Jeffrey Jinks, 48, of El Dorado, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 8, 2018.

Jeff was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, on September 11, 1970 to Donnie & Sandra Jinks. He was a graduate of the class of 1988 at Parker's Chapel High School; where he participated in their welding apprentice program and completed their program which, in turn sparked his career choice early on.

Jeff married the love of his life; Brandy on July 17, 2010. Jeff and Brady loved spending time together whenever they could. Many people have said if you saw Jeff out running errands around town you would most likely see Brandy by his side. Several months back Jeff and Brandy started their own welding business together. Jeff did all the welding and Brandy helped him with prepping of the materials as well as painting. Their new venture gave them significantly more time to spend together with each other than ever before, which they were both thankful for.

Jeff and Brandy shared a common love for animals together but especially for cats and dogs. Each one of their pets has their own story and was family to them. Most of their pets were rescued or were acquired from the shelter.

Jeff and Brandy were members of Murmill Baptist Church where they loved serving the Lord and enjoyed fellowshipping with their friends there.

Jeff seldom met a stranger that he couldn't talk to but anyone that knew him, including his former co-workers didn't hesitate to ask him for help because they knew he would help anyone because of his kind, caring nature.

Jeff worked as a welder and pipe fitter for 28 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the dirt track races, and fixing up various race cars, including his friends own cars. He drove the #77 late model on most Friday and Saturday nights.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Donald "Donnie" Jinks, his maternal grandparents, Obil Lee & Novie May Hinson, and his paternal grandparents, Donald & Bea Jinks and his Uncle Charles Jinks.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Brandy, his mom, Sandra Jinks, many cousins, his nieces and nephews; and the rest of the family and MANY friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on December 14, 2018 at Perry's Funeral Chapels in El Dorado, AR. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on December 13, 2018 at Perry's Funeral Chapel. Brother Adam Hill and Brother Billy Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Friendship Primitive Baptist Church - 348 Hinson Rd; El Dorado, Arkansas 71730 under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapel.
