Jerry " Pistol" Hays, 60 died July 16, 2013 at his camp at Mitcham Landing.
He was born August 10, 1952.
Jerry was a Sergeant in the Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He loved life on the river and never met a stranger in his life. He will be dearly missed.
Preceded him in death is his dad Jerry Hays Sr.
Survivors include his daughter Megan Keefer of Mt. Pleasant, PA., two brothers; Donny Powell (Sonya) of Hamburg, Ar. and Charles Hays (Kim) of Strong Ar., two sisters; Bridget Funk (Tom) of Mt. Pleasant, PA. and Melany Ramsey of West Monroe, LA. and many nieces, nephews and extended "river family" along with his special four legged buddy Jed.
Cremation was entrusted to Perry's Funeral Chapels.
