Jerry Eldon Murphy, age 84, passed from this life June 19, 2024. Jerry was born December 25, 1939 in El Dorado, AR to the late James Edward and Betty Alice Murphy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers Huey Murphy, James Ray Murphy, Archie Murphy Gerald Wayne Murphy; three sisters Wanda Jean Murphy, Juanita Wooten, and Jearlene Waters.

Those left to cherish his memory include: one sister Wilda Faye Jerry; four children Deborah Dawn Sage, James Edward Murphy, Sabrina Dawn Silva and her husband Syd, and Kenny Clem; seven grandchildren Alexandria Elaine Hall, Zorrie Ellen Atkinson, Jamie Patricia May Murphy, Joshua Murphy, Blaise Foote, Bo Clem and Katie Marie Clem; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services in his honor will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Green Grove Assembly of God Church on Philadelphia Rd, internment follow in Green Grove Cemetery, Thomas Wooten and Brother Charlie Smith officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until time of service at the church.
