Jerry Taunton's Obituary
Jerry Taunton, 66, of Warren, died Saturday, July 25, 2009, at UAMS in Little Rock.
Mr. Taunton was born Sept 10, 1942 in Crossett, the son of Sam and Geraldine White Taunton. He worked for Potlatch Corp as an electrical superintendent for 14 years and retired as a bio-med engineer for Bradley County Medical Center. Mr. Taunton had attended University of Arkansas at Monticello.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Survived by his wife Joan Taunton, his daughter Deborah Rawls and her husband Rickey, and a grandson Kendall Rawls all of Warren, his father San Taunton of Strong, two sisters, Wanda Norsworth of Strong and Marianne Ward of Waco, Texas.
Visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2009 from 1:30 til 2:30 at the funeral home.
The funeral servic will be at 2:30pm , Monday July 25, 2009 at Perry's Funeral Chapels in Strong with Dr. Wayman Mann officiating.
Burial will be in Urbana Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels
