Jessie D. Frisby 69, died Sunday September 9, 2012 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. He was born April 23, 1943 in El Dorado and is the son of the late Jessie Davis Frisby and Hattie Lois Price Frisby. Also preceding him is his wife, Faye Smith Frisby, a grandson, Jordan Frisby and a sister, Lillian Frisby.

Jessie was an avid outdoors man. Whether it was working in the oilfield where is was a self employed pumper, or hunting at "Jessie Frisby Hunting Club", which he chartered, he loved being outdoors. But most of all he loved his family who will dearly miss him.

Survivors include his sons, Tim Frisby and Eric Frisby (Shannon) both of Strong, granddaughters, Kimberly Shirey(Chris) of Strong, and Candace Cates (Cole) of El Dorado, grandsons, Drake Frisby of Strong, Jessie Frisby of Oklahoma, great grandson, Reid Cates, and great granddaughter, Alaina Shirey, brothers, Maynard Frisby (Peggy Sue) of El Dorado, and Larry Frisby (Nelda Faye) of Strong.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday September 11, 2012 at Green Grove Assembly of God Church with Rev. Mac Ables officiating under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels. Burial will be in Green Grove Cemetery.
