Pops was born on September 20, 1938 in Strong, AR. During his lifetime he worked at a winery, was a police officer, and a cross country truck driver. Jewel loved motorcycles and was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. At any time you could find him porch sitting in a rocking chair. He loved traveling and road trips, but you better not try and get him on a plane or boat! He was also an avid hunter and loved going to the deer camp and hanging out with his brother, David.
His family and friends will remember him as a tough but very caring man. Papa was all about family and loved spending time with them. He also loved his grandbabies, real and adopted! They were the light of his life and his pride and joy. Another of his favorite past times was drinking coffee. He loved taking any of his grandkids and spending time with them at the coffee shop.
