Obituary
Jimmy Ray Ball, 58, of Felsenthal, left this life at his home on Wednesday June 10, 2009. He
was born September 22, 1950 in El Dorado and is the son of the late Elbert Prentice Ball and
Helen Florece Ball. He was a carpenter by trade.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Pat Ball, and Mike Ball, and his grandmother
Granny Bay Ball.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years Betty Jean Rice Ball of Felsenthal, son Chris Ball
and wife Robin of Felsenthal, daughter: Teresa Thoms and husband Kevin of Sullivan,
Missouri, sisters: Sussie Snider and husband Carol of El Dorado, and Carolyn Lawson and
husband Randy of El Dorado, and seven grandchildren: Destiny, Kolby, Andrew, Drew, Konner,
Karter, and Ansley.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday June 13, 2009 at Perry's Funeral Chapels in
El Dorado with Revs. W. L. Cheatham and Byron White officiating. Serving as pallbearers
will be, Stephen Vestal, John Williams, Steven Sellers, Don Cheatham, Keith Barnes and
Houston Blakenship. Visitation will be from 5-7:00pm on Friday June 12, 2009 at the Funeral
Home.
