Jimmy C. Bolton of Huttig, Arkansas was born on August 03, 1941 to the late J.C. Bolton and Racheal Lee Gilmore in Texarkana. Jimmy entered into his rest on July 23, 2022 at the age of 80.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister; and one son Jimmy Kirk Bolton.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife Melda D. Bolton; one son Shane Bolton and his wife Stacy of Huttig, AR; three grandchildren Joshua Bolton, Lexi Walker and her husband Tyler, Christa Byerly and her husband Dakota; six great-grandchildren Kayden, Alessa, Evan, Talyn, Olivia, and Kane(soon to arrive); one sister Betty Towns of Bastrop, LA; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

He attended Harper Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He loved his family, adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He retired from Georgia Pacific in Crossett, AR, and a proud member IAM and a past executive board member of the Arkansas AFL-CIO.

Graveside services will be held at the Harper Springs Cemetery in Huttig, AR, Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 2:00pm, Bro. Clyde Darden and Rev. Buddy Lowery officiating.
