Jimmy C. Ricks, 73, of El Dorado passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019. He was born in Snyder, AR on December 28, 1945 to the late Henry William and Vera Sedberry Ricks. He served in the Army for 2 years and worked as an Oil Gauger at Cross Oil and later Lion Oil from where he retired. Jimmy was a faithful member of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church.

Jimmy is preceded in death by parents; his son, Donny Willoughby; and brothers, Jake and Eugene Ricks.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Imogene Cheatham Ricks; sons, Todd Ricks (Christy) of Texas City, TX and Scott Willoughby (Rhonda) of El Dorado; sister, Christine Hobbs (Robert) of Longview, TX; brothers, Bobby (Jo) of Columbus, MS, J M (Judy) of Fountain Hill, AR, John (Dian) of Hamburg, AR and Fred of Crossett, AR; brother in law, Sonny Cheatham (Ruth) of Norphlet, AR; granddaughters, Ashley Ricks Morris (Chris) and Kara Ricks of Texas City, TX and Stephanie Grafton (Jared) of El Dorado; great-granddaughters, Sophia Ricks and Adalyn Faith Morris of Texas City, TX; and great-grandsons,  Easton and Elijah Grafton of El Dorado.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Perry's Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 10, 2019 at Perry's Funeral Chapel and will be officiated by Bro. Larry Hudson  followed by Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jared Grafton, David Ricks, Jason Dendy, Donnie Dendy, Chris Morris and Randy Hale.
