Joe Henry Thompson, age 80, of El Dorado, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at his residence.  Joe was born on November 21, 1939 in El Dorado, AR to the late Lillie Bell Wood Thompson and Henry Harmon Thompson.

Joe was a lifelong member of Galilee Baptist Church. He worked for Prescolite Inc. as a supervisor for 20 years before his retirement. Joe loved taking motorcycle trips on his trike that he built himself. He especially enjoyed attending bike rallies, working on motorcycles and camping with his family

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie Bell Barnes and Henry Harmon Thompson

Those left to cherish his memory include; his loving wife of 57 years, Annie Thompson of El Dorado;  one daughter, Jennifer Davis and husband Greg of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Austin Davis, Ashlyn Davis and Anna Davis, all of Little Rock, and one brother, David Harmon Thompson of Haynesville, Louisiana.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Perry's Funeral Chapels.

Graveside services will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Galilee Cemetery with Bro. Clay Dickson officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
