John David Coleman of Strong, Arkansas passed from this life on September 3, 2022 in El Dorado, Arkansas, at the age of 81. John was born on August 31, 1941 in Hamburg, Arkansas to the late Gordan and Margie Coleman.

John was a member of First Baptist Church of Strong, AR. He was an avid sports man and loved the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth, and his loving parents.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife of 54 years Mary Coleman; two daughters Tracey White and her husband Randy of Strong, AR, Kelli Gathright and her husband Ted also of Strong, AR; two grandchildren Hayden Latimer and her husband Carter, and Reid Gathright; one brother Jerry Coleman and his wife Tamra of El Dorado, AR; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm at First Baptist Church of Strong, AR. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 2:00pm at the church. Internment to follow at Strong Cemetery. Undertaking provided by Perry's Funeral Chapel of El Dorado, AR.
