On August 19th surrounded by his family, and loyal companion YOGI, John lost his long and courageous battle with cancer.

John was an Oil field worker for 28 years, most of those were with Quanico Oil and Gas.

He was born in Marshall Tx. But, lived most his adult life in Arkansas.

He was an avid fisherman, love to hunt, go camping and the occasional casino trip.

He will be greatly missed by all.

He is proceeded in death by his father, Robert Friday, his mother Gloria B. Friday, his brother, Bobby Friday, his son, Garry.

He is survived by his wife of Thirty Three years, Gloria Hodges Friday (Jeannie). Sister, Gloria A Friday, Brothers, Howard Friday (Tootie) and Anthony Rodriguez (A-Rod).

Sister-in-Laws – Jerri McFarland, Traci Tullis (Brian), Sandra Miller Friday (Tootie), His Children Lacey, Rachael, Lisa, and Seth (Amanda). Ten Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration memorial party will be held on September 21st @ 2pm at the Smackover City Park per "Big John's Request"
