Joy Victoria Killingsworth passed away on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 at 90 years of age. Born on June 3rd, 1929 in Fort Stockton, TX to Victor V. and Gladys H. Randall, she worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone in Texas for many years before she and her husband, George Killingsworth, settled in Parkers Chapel. There, she raised six boys and was a member of Bethel Chapel Assembly of God. She and George were married for 55 years. Her favorite color was red and she loved to read.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; her daughter-in-law; Amy Killingsworth; and a great-granddaughter, Evelyn Williams.
Survivors include her sons, Randy Killingsworth (El Dorado), Bruce Killingsworth (Texas), Lynn Killingsworth (Little Rock), Jon Killingsworth (Junction City), Brian Killingsworth (El Dorado) and Joel (Christine) Killingsworth (Fayetteville); grandchildren, Chris (Bobbie) Killingsworth, Dr. Heather (John) Williams, Wesley (Kimberly) Killingsworth, Brad (Ashley) Killingsworth, Michaela (Jared) Lindsey, Justin (Tabatha) Killingsworth, Timothy Blake (Kelly) Killingsworth, and Kaylee (Tim) Taylor; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 Regulations a Private Family Graveside will be held Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
