Joy Inez (West) Tinsley, 86, of El Dorado, Arkansas, passed quietly into the presence of our Lord on June 1, 2021, at her home in Sandyland.  She was born April 26, 1935, to Dave and Dorothy (Byrd) West in Louann. Joy was a homemaker and enjoyed the many joys life had to offer.  She was a longtime member of Sandyland Missionary Baptist Church. Joy is preceded in death by her sons, James Tinsley, Jr. and Joe Tinsley and daughter, Brenda Sutherland. Left to cherish her precious memories is her husband of 70 years, James L. Tinsley Sr.; daughter, Sheila Raley (Terry Raley); son, Dale Tinsley (Trysta Tinsley), fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and many extended family and loved ones.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 4, 2021 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Sandyland Missionary Baptist Church (161 Gas Plant Road) with Rev. Bill McDaniel and Rev. Jack Herring officiating, followed by interment at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Service.
