Joyce Evelyn Thurlkill Ham, 93 of El Dorado, passed from this life Saturday, February 21,2026. She was born July 13, 1932 in El Dorado to John Rufus Thurlkill and Eugenior Moore Thurlkill.

Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and a member of Mt. Union Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, quilting, working with her flowers and especially sewing, she created many dresses for her daughter and granddaughters.

She Is preceded in death by her parents, husband Emery Ham, and son Ronnie Ham.

Surviving are children Emery Ray Ham (Barbara), Thomas H. Ham (Vicky) and Teresa Blackwell (Roger); grandchildren Kristi Miller, Tommy Ham, Charlie Ham, Lauri Kaffka, Devin Nipper, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Serving as Pallbearers are; Tommy Nipper, Noah Kaffka, Bradley Miller, Ethan Miller, D.J. Hill, and Joshua Kaffka.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 25, 2026 with Visitation beginning at 1:00 pm and Services beginning at 2:00pm at Mt. Union Baptist Church with John Ayres. Burial to follow at Smyrna Cemetery under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapel of El Dorado. An online registry can be signed at
