Joyce Fraser Ingram, 78, of Norphlet, AR went to join the Lord on October 28, 2015.
Joy, to her husband of almost 60 years, Clark H. Ingram, and to her many friends. Mother, to her son James Ingram (Kim) also of Norphlet and her daughter Debora Cook (Jim) of Smackover. Memaw to her grandchildren, Courtney Ingram, Brandon Butler (Courtney), Summer Prado, Gabe, Josh and Sean Cook and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Judy Ricketts (Carroll) of El Dorado. Preceding her to heaven were her parents, Ann and TB Fraser of Smackover. Joy was a member of Maple Avenue Baptist Church for many years until moving to Norphlet and joining the First Baptist Church there. A life long homemaker she enjoyed may hobbies, her favorite being her Thursday Stitching Club. She was a past member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She was an accomplished artist and a member of South Arkansas Art Center. Joy also enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband. One of her favorite destinations was Mountain View, AR where she enjoyed playing her Dulcimer at the Ozark Campground Picking Shed. She loved and will be missed by her two dogs, Ruby and Bandit.
Funeral Services for Joy will be at First Baptist Church in Norphlet at 1:00 Friday, October 30 with Bro. Doug Wills and Bro. John Norvell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:00 at the same location. Interment following at Smackover Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Pat Long, Brandon Butler, Gabe Cook, Scott Carter, Mark Martin and Matt Williams.
