Judith A. (Judy) Williams Smith, 63, of Norphlet, Arkansas died Monday November 17, 2008 at
her home. She was born November 26, 1944 in Anderson South Carolina and is the daughter of TJ
Solomon Williams and Avis Laura Saxon Williams. She worked for Cox Communication for 22 years as a
customer service representative. She was a past member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed doing craftwork and reading books in her spare
time, especially books written by Steven King and Dean Koontz. She had a loving personality who loved everyone and didn't mind showing family and friends how much she cared. She deeply loved her family
who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Marie Ashworth.

Survivors include her parents, Sol and Avis Williams of Anderson South Carolina, her husband
Fred Smith Sr. of Norphlet, Arkansas, three sons; Michael and Carla Odom and their children Andrew and
Alyssa all of Norphlet, David Smith and his wife Michelle and their children Hunter, Ethan and
Merideth all of Watertown, New York, and Fred Smith Jr. and his children Lauren Smith of El Dorado and Eric Bowman formerly of El Dorado and now serving in the United States Marine Corp., three brothers John Williams, Gael Williams, and Ted Williams all of Anderson South Carolina, and a sister Esther
Bowman also of Anderson South Carolina.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday November 21, 2008 at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Rev.
Lawrence Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Smackover Cemetery. Visitation will be from
6:00pm til 8:00pm Thursday November 20, 2008 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. The family will be
at 112 W. Hayes in Norphlet.
