Karen Lynette Hammond of El Dorado, Arkansas passed from this life Sunday, July 3, 2022 in Little Rock, AR. She was born on December 18, 1950 in El Dorado.

Karen was preceded in death by her father John Alder Hammond and her son Justin Strickland.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother Iris Mae Hammond; two brothers John Hammond and his wife Linda, Bret Hammond; and one sister Kelly Hammond Hartsell and husband Charles; three children Shaun Laird, John Strickland, and Kristina Foust and her husband Bobby; five grandchildren Samson Laird, Lana Laird, Lexi Laird, Kevin Foust and Olivia Foust; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Karen was a member of Hickory Grove Chapel and was very devoted to her faith.

Services will be held Friday, July 8, 2022, at 10am with visitation prior from 8:00-10:00am at the Hickory Grove Chapel in El Dorado, AR. Interment to follow at Burns Ebenezer Cemetery in El Dorado, AR. Repast held at church after graveside.
