Obituary

Mary Kathleen Oswalt Cook was born on December 8,1927 in Cochran Georgia to parents Claude Denson Oswalt and Ruby Lee Oswalt.

She is preceded in death by her parent, her husband Robert Tilmon Cook, and her son Robert Lee Cook.

Kathleen was a member of Three Creeks Baptist Church and worked at Prescolite for many years.

Her survivors include three sons, Rodney Cook (Nancy) of El Dorado, Larry Cook (Debbie) of El Dorado and Dean Cook of Junction City, Arkansas. She has four grandchildren, Todd Cook of Fayetteville, Tina Cook Haney (Keith) of Hot Springs, Amber Cook Wood (Brandon) of El Dorado and Alex Cook of Junction City, Arkansas, eight great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother James (Buddy) Oswalt of Marshall, Texas.

Honoring her memory by serving as pallbearers are; Robert Ford, John Pinson, Hubert Jolley, Chris Griffin, Larry Wood, and Rusty Brown.

Kathleen loved God, her family and many friends. She spent eight years at Hudson Nursing Home where she loved her caretakers like family.

Although we will miss her, we rest in the joy that she is not in pain and rejoicing in Heaven.

Services will be held in her honor at Three Creeks Baptist Church, Tuesday May 12,2026 with Visitation beginning at 10:00 am and funeral services at 11:00 officiated by Bro. Dano Rainer and Bro. Ken Nelson. Burial to follow at Three Creeks Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapel. An online registry can be signed at www.perrysfuneralchapel.com.
