Obituary

Kathy Ragan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21st at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas after a long hard fought battle with illness and kidney failure. Kathy was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and homemaker whose greatest joy was her family. She was the beloved wife of Dakota Wilson, Loving mother of Kaitlynn Ragan (Colt) Austin Ragan (Sammy) Proud grandmother of Waylon, Easton, Carson, and Kaleb. She is survived by her sister Christy Cameron (Ryan), her favorite nephew Andrew (Summer) and Papaw Ron. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Doyle and Christine Cameron, her former husband James Ragan.

Kathy loved her children and grandchildren more than she loved anything. She had a special place in her heart for her cats and her dog Sally. She loved watching a good crime show on tv with a cold Dr. Pepper in her hand. She just loved the simple things in life. Kathy always held her Baptist faith close to her heart. Kathy's absence will leave a space that can never be filled, but her love will live on through her family, and the countless memories they will forever cherish. Her faith offers comfort in knowing that she is now resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus. Kathy will forever be loved, missed, and never forgotten.

Services will be held Friday October 30, 2026, at Perry's Funeral Chapel with visitation beginning at 10:00 am and service to follow at 11:00 am with Bro. Bill Odom officiating. Burial to follow at Jolley Cemetery in Three Creeks under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapel of El Dorado.
