Obituary
Kenneth R. Black 58, of El Dorado died Friday, January 28, 2011 at his residence.
He was born March 20, 1952, in New Orleans, LA, to George Lewis Black and Grace Harrett Phillipe Black. He was appointed board of directors at UCAPS, he loved his animals, his family and friends, playing pool, listening to his music. He was an avid Saints Fan. He was a maintenance bus mechanic for the Norphlet school district until 1993, and later did the same for the El Dorado public school district..
He is preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife; Ellen Black of El Dorado, a son; Robert Black ( Shannon) of Crossett, two daughters; Bambi Black Leveritt ( Bob) of Parkers Chapel, and Nikki Black of El Dorado, seven grand children; Taylor Black, Karly Smith, Jacy Smith, Tanner Black, Cheyenne Jones, Dalton Black, Logan Black, a brother Bill Black of Dallas, Texas; two sister; Ann Wooten of Piggott, and Mona Stratton of Monticello, several nieces , nephews and great nieces and nephews, and extended family at UCAPS.
Memorial service will be Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 2:00PM at Perry's Funeral Chapels in El Dorado.
Family request in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to UCAPS; 1000 Sunset Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.
