Kenneth Lamar Kelley 70 of Strong, passed away April 14, 2014. He was born March 6, 1944 in Strong.
Kenneth worked at Georgia Pacific in Crossett for 43 years as an E&I technician. He was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. His passion for music was a special gift he shared with many people. He loved playing the piano and trumpet.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Kelley and Lillie Pearl Kelley.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Becky Kelley, three daughters; Tammy Oakes (Dean), Julie Boykin (Cannon) , Jennifer Kelley and two honorary daughters; Jennifer "JB" Black May and Jill Kelley, brother Alan Kelley (Linda), sister Shirley Park(Ed), five grandchildren; Alex Oakes, Madison Oakes, Loren Oakes, Hope Boykin and Chandler Boykin
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday April 17, 2014 at New London Baptist Church
Funeral services will be at 2pm Friday April 18, 2014 at New London Baptist Church with brothers Brandon Phillips and Phillip Smith officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Scotty Park, Todd Kelley, Rusty Pratt, Eric Stone, Jose Olvera, Alan Gantz. Musicians will be Iris Knox and Laurie Smith. Burial will be in Ebenezer Presbyterian Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels
