Laronn Walton Greenlee, 85, of Strong, left this life on Monday March 30, 2008 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born on October 16, 1923 and is the son of Hughey T. Greenlee and Janie Gordan Walton. He served in the United States Army during the second World War, serving in India. He retired from the shipping department at International Paper Saw Mill in Bastrop, Louisiana. He was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Strong.

Preceded in death by his parents and a brother Hubert Greenlee.

Survivors include his brothers Ewel Greenlee and his wife Kathryn of Mt. Ida, Arkansas , Brady Greenlee of El Dorado, and sister-in- law Frances "Tiny" Greenlee of El Dorado, many nieces and great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside services will be held 10:00am on Wednesday April 1, 2009 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Cemetery with Rev. Phil Pinckard officiating.. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm til 7:00pm on Tuesday March 31, 2009 at Perry's Funeral Chapels in Strong.
