Larry Basco, age 56, passed away on May 14, 2024 in El Dorado, AR. Larry was born February 11,1968 in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Larry grew up in Colfax/Pineville, LA and lived his adult life in Arkansas. He was known by his friends as chopper. He was known for his ability to crack a joke, laugh, and never meeting a stranger. Larry was a truck driver for over 20 years, and loved to tell everyone he knew about his daughter and granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Beatrice Fawcett; grandfather Albert Fawcett; sister Leslie Ann Powell; and favorite uncle and great friend Jimmy Attaway.

His survivors are his mother Kathy Morgan (Allen); father Larry Basco Sr. (Rose); daughter Leslie Ann Rego (John); brothers Albert Powell (Candice); JT Morgan (Maria); granddaughter Saylor Rego; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial gathering will be at The Rego family home at 1:00 PM this Sunday, May 19, 2024.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Salvation Army in El Dorado, AR.
