Larry Alton Daricek, age 81, of El Dorado, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021, in Texarkana, Texas. He was born October 9, 1939 in Pineville, Louisiana to the late Carl A. Daricek and Thelma Lott Daricek.

Larry is preceded in death by his brother, Freddie Wayne Daricek and Louise Reynolds.

He loved to fish and spend time with his family. In his earlier years, Larry was a member of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Daricek; daughters, Linda and Shelia Daricek; stepchildren, Ray Sowyers, Troy Sowyers and Denise Tew and grandchildren, James Colston, Lauren Sealy, Chase Sealy, Amber Brouillette, Tori Sowyers, Ashley Parker and Charlie Colston.

Visitation will be held 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 12, 2021 officiated by Billy Smith at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow at Bethel Methodist Cemetery on Junction City Highway under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
