Larry Dale Selmon 60, of El Dorado died Tuesday October 23, 2012 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. He was born October 9, 1952 in Little Rock to Lewis Monroe "Red" Selmon and Faye Dell Welch. He worked as a welder for Great Lakes Chemical Plant for over 22 years.
He loved riding motorcycles and attending motorcycle rallies. He enjoyed hunting but most of all he loved his family especially his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents, and a brother, Lewis R. Selmon

Survivors include his sons, Walter "Slack" Selmon (Tanya) of Smackover , Larry "Slick" Selmon of El Dorado, and Jake "Shack" Selmon of Smackover, brother, Roger Allen Selmon (Charlotte) of Caladonia, sisters, Pat Yancy (Gary) of Homer, Louisiana and Donnetta Hull of Cairo, grandchildren, BeYonica Selmon and Jillyann Selmon.

Visitation will be held from 1-2pm Saturday October 27, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 2pm at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Rex McDaniels officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Family request in lieu of flowers, memorials to be made to Life Touch Hospice.
