Laverne Templeton Carr's Obituary
LaVerne Templeton Carr, 91, of El Dorado died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Timberlane Health &Rehab.
She was born on September 27, 1919 in Union County to Jesse Samuel Templeton and Grace Brazeal Templeton. She was a school teacher for 39 years.
LaVerne is proceded in death by her parents and two sisters; Mildred Templeton Nash, and Murrel Templeton Bryan.
She is survived by two nieces; Grace Nash Harper and her husband Wayne of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Cindy Sandifer of Ruston., a great nephew; Jason Tucker and his wife Amy of Benton, Arkansas; and great great nephews; Nathan and Logon Tucker.
Graveside services will be Friday, March 11, 2011 at 11:30AM at Arlington Cemetery with Rev. Lyle Hern officiating. Services are under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels in El Dorado. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the funeral home.
Family request in lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to Parkview Baptist Church.
