Lawana Harmon

Lawana S. Harmon, 85, passed from this life February 12, 2026, at the South Arkansas Regional Hospital in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born October 18, 1940, in El Dorado to Ernest Lavelle Smith Sr. and Floyce Pearl Cox Smith.

Lawana was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord, she was a devoted homemaker who loved to cook and enjoyed canning. She retired from Timmins Hardware where she worked as the Office Manager for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby Wayne Harmon and sister Sybil Jean Smith.

Surviving her are her children; Michael Dowty (Betty), Shari Hughes (Michael) and Tim Dowty, Stepsons; Ricky Harmon (Brandy), Mark Harmon (Vicky), Mike Harmon (Robin), Grandchildren Damon Dowty (Heather), David Dowty (Karee), Lacey Nutt (Jonathan), John Hughes (Danielle) and Numerous great- grandchildren.

Services will be held at Perry’s Funeral Chapel on Monday February 16,2026, Visitation to begin at 1:00 pm with Services to follow at 2:00 pm. An online registry can be signed at www.perrysfuneralchapel.com
